We had a fantastic stay at Grooms Cottage! The location was perfect, peaceful yet close to restaurants, pubs, and shops. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of shopping. The owners, Steve and Sarah, gave amazing recommendations for the Italian and Indian restaurants nearby. We even got to visit the stables and interact with the horses, which was a unique experience. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We will definitely be back!

The location of Grooms Cottage was fantastic, with easy access to both the peaceful Wyre Estuary Country Park and the lively Blackpool seafront. We loved being able to bring our dogs along, and the cottage had a small back garden for their convenience. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and we even got to visit the stables and see the horses. we had a lovely self-catering break at Grooms Cottage and would highly recommend it to others.

Spacious master bedroom, warm property. Busy but not noisy surroundings. Lovely location, short drive to Blackpool attractions. Would recommend to friends and family.

We got great value for our money at Grooms Cottage - a beautiful, homely and well-equipped cottage that exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, close to Blackpool, the Zoo, and local shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable.

Menu for breakfast could benefit from some variety or additional options.

our recent stay in thornton was amazing! grooms cottage exceeded our expectations with its fantastic amenities, including a cozy log burner and a delightful hot tub. the friendly hosts, especially steve, were always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. we loved being next to the horses and our son had a great time feeding them. highly recommended!

Outside area needs improvement.

The property had a spacious master bedroom and was kept warm during our stay. The surrounding area was busy but surprisingly quiet at night.

The lack of privacy due to the proximity of the owner's property and the hot tub being located in their cluttered backyard was inconvenient. The small size of the second bedroom made it unsuitable for families.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful, well-equipped cottage with a homely feel. The location was great, close to Blackpool and other attractions, and we loved hearing the horses from the nearby equestrian center. The owners were friendly and helpful, and being able to use the hot tub was a fantastic addition to our stay.

The breakfast selection could be improved to offer more variety.
